SMCC Students Awarded a Total of $5, 278.00 for their Business Venture Pitch
Phoenix, AZ – December 16, 2014 – Congratulations goes out to the South Mountain community college 2014 Fall NACCE/Coleman Foundation Entrepreneurial College in Action Grant Student Venture Pitch winners!
11 student participants pitched their business concepts, many already established, to a panel of distinguished judges, which include successful investors, entrepreneurs and experienced, entrepreneurial-minded practitioners in the business community.
Participants had three minutes to provide an overview of their businesses, describe their customers, and outline the benefits their business would gain from the prize money. Prizes were awarded for first through fifth place, audience choice and best business idea with social innovation.
The Fall 2014 winners of the SVPC are as follows:

The next Student Venture Pitch Competition (SVPC) will be held in Spring 2015. The SVPC is open to all SMCC students registered for a minimum of three credit hours during the semester and who own or are ready to start a business.
