Cougar pitcher commits to George Mason University

Sophomore left-handed pitcher, Jared Gaynor, becomes the 3rd South Mountain CC baseball player to commit to an NCAA Division 1 scholarship this past week. Gaynor led the Cougars in wins (3rd in the conference) in 2012 with a total of 9. He also finished 1st in the ACCAC in innings pitched (102.33) and 3rd in strikeouts (77). Jared is currently competing in the West Coast Collegiate League for the Kitsap Blue Jackets.
