Paws 4 Study Break

Join Barney, Maddy and Ringo at the South Mountain Community Library Thursday, May 7 for a study break. The library will be hosting the stress management event for students before finals weeks. Therapy dogs, Barney, Maddy, and Ringo from the Paws 2 Read organization will join Amy Torgerson, South Mountain Community College Counseling Faculty to help ease the stress of studying for finals.

Ms. Torgerson will provide stress advice and last-minute research assistance. The library will provide healthy study snacks. The event is free and open to the public.

South Mountain Community College President, Dr. Shari Olson supports the event saying, “It’s important for all of us to take time to nourish our well-being. Our canine companions help us do that every day. I hope all our students have a chance to participate in this wonderful event.”

Don’t work like a dog! Paws 4 a study break and spend a dog-day afternoon at the South Mountain Community Library!
