Ms. Jones, SMCC Adjunct Voice Instructor will perform with four of her students: Dawn Corso, Jonathan Ireland, Alonzo Jordan and Vanessa McGlothen. They will perform a variety of individual and ensemble selections, accompanied by pianist Brenda Hankins.
Ms. Jones has performed worldwide and sung more than 500 performances with New York’s famed Metropolitan Opera.
“The human voice achieves its zenith of expression when performing classical music,” says Ms. Jones. “I want the audience, and all potential students, to realize that if they love to sing, and are dreaming of performing, they can, with the proper instruction.”
