SMCC Storytelling Institute Presents Faculty Fall Concert, September 12
WHAT:
The faculty members of the South Mountain Community College Storytelling Institute will join together onstage for their annual FREE fall Storytelling Concert on Wednesday, September 12, at 7 p.m.
The theme of the fall concert is “Real Stories.”
“All stories are ‘real’ stories,” says SMCC Storytelling Institute Chair Liz Warren. “Whether a folktale, a myth, a piece of history or a personal experience, real stories help us connect to each other, to our time and place, and to the beauty and complexity of life.”
SMCC faculty members performing in the concert will include Doug Bland, Harriet Cole, Penny Morningstar, Marilyn Torres, Liz Warren and Sule Greg Wilson.

The Storytelling Faculty Fall Concert will be held Wednesday, September 12, starting at 7 p.m.
WHERE:
The concert will take place in the SMCC Performance Hall, located at 7050 S. 24th Street in Phoenix, just north of Baseline Road.
